Anthony's early training consisted of classical piano and vocals. He combines these skills with song writing to produce his own Cabaret, Musical Theatre and Pop repertoire, which have won him awards Nationally. Most recently Anthony worked in collaboration to write his first musical "John & Sarah" which was a national finalist in the prestigious "Pratt Prize" for new musical theatre works. He is currently under commission to compose music and lyrics for the Australian Production of the Lion The Witch and Wardrobe.
Graduating with one of the three perfect scores for Music in Victoria, Anthony began his theatrical training at Monash University majoring in Music and Drama. During this time he played leading roles in such musicals as Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Jesus Christ Superstar, Working and Once on This Island. He further developed his skills at DanceWorld301, where he is currently the Vocal Coach. Anthony's professional career began in 1998 playing Danny Zuko in the Melbourne Moomba Production of Greace, followed by a six month Cabaret in Asia. Upon his return, Anthony worked as a lead Vocalist for Disney Special Events, and then went on to create the very naughty, but lovable role of Armand in Carnival of Freaks, for Dracula's Cabaret Restaurant. How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying and Mack and Mable marked his debut with The Production Company in 2001. Later that year, Anthony had the privilege of touring Beijing and Shanghai, appearing in The Music of Andrew Lloyd Webber starring Elaine Paige. In 2002, Anthony played the title role of the Pinocchio in Gary Ginnivan's Pinocchio, and was later featured in The Production Company's Concert production of Hair, Directed and Choreographed by David Atkins. After which he went on to play the role of 'Toby Bergman' and cover to the lead role 'Michael' in the Australian Premiere Cast of The Witches of Eastwick. Anthony's live television credits include; 1998 Melbourne Cup, NBL Basketball, Good Friday Appeal (2000-2002) and the Sydney Carols in the Domain. Most recently Anthony has been working abroad as the Male Lead and Resident Vocal Director for the Royal Caribbean Cruise Line in the USA.
